Dr. Tedros, Taiwan, One China Policy and his misleading role in the W.H.O.
If it is not a political game as you emphasized, why you blame Taiwan, a non-existence country in the W.H.O., but not China?

I am a Taiwanese but I don’t know what it means when Dr. Tedros blamed Taiwan for the death threat and racist insults against him in the W.H.O. conference. I got confused because based on the policy of one China, Taiwan doesn’t exist in international society.
It must be wrong. It should be the fault of China. Or Dr. Tedros tried to support the independence of Taiwan?
Also, I don’t know about black or racist word related to that since Taiwanese have a broad spectrum of colors. Colors can’t define a person but the personality can.
When I was young, I lived in a village where people were from different backgrounds or colors if you insist. I didn’t hear any racist term that is from Taiwanese rather we were frequently insulted by the other side — China.
Many racist terms against Taiwanese are from China due to their superiority such as “台巴子”, “矮黑人”, “美國狗”. Doesn’t know what it means? No problem, I can translate that to you which are “redneck”, “short n-words”, and “American’s pet”.
Yet, because our color is darker than the Chinese in China, we are considered as black in their eyes even though it is not always true. American’s pet is due to the relationship between Taiwan and the U.S. China loves to bombard this part if it has a chance.
But Taiwan does not exist in international society. It is considered part of China under the policy of one China. Dr. Tedros’s criticism against Taiwan which I am afraid that it violated the policy of the W.H.O. that Taiwan does not exist. He should blame China instead. Ah! But how can he do that? He praised so much for China’s work of preventing the spread of disease that even make the U.S. become the new epicenter of the COVID-19 and many new cases in so many countries.
Let’s not blame him instead!!! Give him the praise he wants!
He did a great job to prevent the outbreak of the disease which makes Italy, Spain and the U.S. as the top 3 countries of COVID-19 then China.
He is such a great doctor that works so hard with China to provide the adequate support and guidance of disease control that makes China lockdown Wuhan (1/23/2020), reopen Wuhan (1/24/2020) then lock it down again (1/24/2020). Great job!
He warned everyone so early that makes New York and California have no time to prepare for the outbreak and short supply for everything. He did such a great job on this!
When China can’t be blamed, why not blame a non-existent country?
When you are supported by China, why not praise it instead?
Who needs other countries in the W.H.O. when it allows only one voice?
But the U.S. has to pay this ridiculous show for 57.9m this year to the W.H.O. And the U.S. has been the top contributor to the W.H.O. for a long time.
It is okay if we are watching this on Netflix at home as part of the entertainment.
But unfortunately, it is not. Many families have been ruined because the W.H.O. didn’t do their jobs properly. You probably won’t like to pay that 57.9m from your hard-earned money to support this organization.
And you are not alone if you think like that. Many people call for the resignation of Dr. Tedros in change.org.

However, it would be questionable whether it would affect the decision of the W.H.O. But you, as an American and victim of the outbreak, can make difference by e-mailing your congressperson to stress this issue that the U.S. should not support the W.H.O. if it is continued led by Dr. Tedros and false information provided by China.
Why do you want to continue to pay something that doesn’t protect your health?
